Week 4 – May 7 – Adversity and Resilience – What Makes, Breaks, Holds and Heals
If adversity constitutes the hard things that we go through, resiliency is the force which enables us to do the “going through”. Resiliency is also the ability bounce back, and how much or how little resiliency we have will play a large role in how we react, respond, and recover to the adversities we face. While adversity cannot always be predicted or avoided, we can now learn and share best trauma-informed practices that create safety and promote resiliency for ourselves and those around us. Please join us for the last training of our Trauma and Resiliency series, Minding Our Mental, sponsored by the Children’s Institute and the Neighborhood Schools Initiative.
