This training will focus on developing the participant’s skills in the observation of dyads, assessment techniques, and identification of treatment needs to address the developmental, social-emotional and relational constructs in birth to five populations. Participants will learn observation skills related to the assessment of a dyadic relationship and develop skills to evaluate a child’s emotional development. Furthermore, participants will build on their observations to develop age appropriate treatment plan goals and objectives to support dyadic work within the context of a Medi-Cal funding structure.
