Description

Presenter: Suzanne Galindo, J.D., is the Project Manager for the Los Angeles and Ventura region of the Parent Training Infor-mation Center, TASK. She is a parent of three children and has been working in the area of special education for over 30 years. Suzanne’s passion is working with families to empower and educate each parent to be-come knowledgeable in their child’s rights under the Individual with Disabilities Educa-tion Act (IDEA). Through TASK’s parent trainings, her goal is to provide both parents and professionals with communication skills and knowledge for collaboration with their school district to complete an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
