Description

Clinical Supervision: Ethics and Skills for Enhanced Competence in Multicultural Practice

This workshop is designed to provide current skills to enhance ethical multicultural supervision practice including:

  • Cultural humility, competencies, supervision guidelines and best practices.
  • The supervisory relationship, strain, ruptures, repair, reflective practice, diversity and multiculturalism in all aspects.
  • Assessment, feedback, and evaluation strategies.
  • Legal and ethical frames.
  • Self-care
  • Management of supervisees not meeting performance competency standards.

Through a competency-based frame, interactive meta-theoretical strategies for practice are developed through practice exercises, skill-building, video review, and reflection.
