  • Angela Parks-Pyles
    Deputy Director, County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services Contract Services Bureau
    Angela Parks-Pyles provides executive administration for Community-Based Support Division, Youth Development Services Division and Volunteers and Interns Program. In addition, she is tasked with establishing the Department’s Office of Equity, which will provide opportunities to reduce implicit bias and increase racial and cultural equity.
  • Tova Walsh, PhD, MSW
    Assistant Professor, School of Social Work, University of Wisconsin-Madison
    Dr. Tova Walsh is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Faculty Affiliate of the Institute for Research on Poverty and Center for Child and Family Well-Being. HerĀ research focuses on strategies to better engage and serve fathers in child and family programs.
  • Herb J. Wesson
    City Council President
    Herb J. Wesson, Jr. has served as the President of the Los Angeles City Council since 2011. Wesson is the first African American to hold the position of Council President and has been re-elected three times. During his tenure, Wesson has presided over policy initiatives including raising the minimum wage, pension reform and consolidating city elections.
