PSLA: New Group Launches to Help CII's Children and Families

Philanthropic Society Los Angeles (PSLA) is CII’s newest group of supporters, and the brainchild of CII Trustee Rochelle Gores Fredston. PSLA is a group of altruistic, business-minded, youthful individuals connected through their dedication to help the children and families of Children’s Institute. Each year, members plan to review under-funded activities at CII, and take a vote on which to champion. The chosen project will be the group’s focus for that year.

PSLA developed a signature fundraiser in September 2010 with Mrs. Fredston’s The Autumn Party, and plans are underway for this year’s second annual event. In addition to fundraising, the group places a strong emphasis on service with the purpose of encouraging members to learn about CII’s work first-hand. Click here to become a member!

Headlining activities for the year is the 2nd Annual “Autumn Party,” a fundraiser and fashion show featuring the designs of Yigal Azrouël bringing together entertainment and business trendsetters to be held October 26, 2011.
