CII’s Project Fatherhood staff were among a select group of leaders invited to the White House. The opportunity was made possible by a local coalition of program organizers involved in President Obama’s Responsible Fatherhood and Mentoring Initiative, part of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
Project Fatherhood staff members Dr. Ronald Banks and Alan-Michael Graves joined some of their Southern California colleagues for a meeting with the President’s staff. The purpose of the visit was to share information about and work together on national and west coast efforts to highlight the role and importance of fathers in their children’s lives.
