CII hosted a Grand Opening and Donor Recognition event to celebrate its new Otis Booth Campus. The campus will provide a safe haven for more than 5,000 children and families who have been affected by trauma and violence. The campus is named for the Otis Booth Foundation which provided the lead gift for the project. The new 48,000-square-foot facility will provide space for CII’s comprehensive services.
CII’s Chairman of the Board Charles P. Diamond recognized fellow trustees Michael Dart and Suzanne Marx for their efforts in leading the agency’s Capital Campaign and their progress in raising 95% of their monetary goal. Kathleen Duncan, Hugh Evans, and Gelila Assefa Puck co-chaired the event, which included special guests, Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard, and former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan.
