CII's Second Annual Celebrity Poker Tournament

October 23, 2010

More than 20 celebrities and other VIP players joined to benefit the children of CII at the agency’s Second Annual Celebrity Poker Tournament on Saturday, October 23, at the Commerce Casino. Once again, the tournament was hosted by Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Camryn Manheim. Spectators watched the fun as players knocked each other out with winning hands, all vying for the grand prize of $5,000 and a seat at the World Poker Tournament Invitational. The final round included CII Trustees Doug McKellar and Todd Rosen along with celebrities Hank Azaria, Tony Denison, Farah Fath, Erik Palladino, Tournament Committee member Bobby Azinian and more.

Event bidding was not confined to the poker tables, as the weeks leading up to the tournament included an online silent auction that continued through the day of the tournament. Auction items included a four-night stay at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, a guitar signed by Miley Cyrus, a year of unlimited dining at Johnny Rockets, a tennis game with Gavin Rossdale, and many more valuable and fun items.

Thanks to all who donated prizes and silent auction items, and special thanks to Camryn Manheim and the Tournament Event Committee: Bobby Azinian, Shelli Azoff, Lisa Caravella, Tracey Gluck, John Halperin, Camryn Manheim, Doug McKellar, Andy Mendelsohn, Amy Reinhard, Emilia Serrano and Suzanne Todd.
