Getting Acquainted with Justice Marshall

More than 100 special CII supporters had rave reviews for actor Laurence Fishburne’s performance in a one-man show, Thurgood, which played recently at Geffen Playhouse. The Tony Award-winning Fishburne portrayed former Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall in a sold-out run at the theater, including an evening performance in which the CII group donated a portion of their ticket cost to the agency. Everyone enjoyed a post-production discussion with Fishburne as well as a private champagne and dessert reception.
