The Colleagues hosted an outdoor luncheon in honor of internationally recognized landscape designer and author Nancy Goslee Power. Appropriately, the event was held in one of Power’s beautiful residential gardens at the home of Colleague Lauren King, who generously hosted the gathering. Guests celebrated the author’s latest book, Power of Gardens, and listened to her comments about the healing nature of gardening. Proceeds of book sales benefited the children at CII. Power is also playing a significant role in the development of CII’s new headquarters, the Otis Booth Campus. She is designing the outdoor space for the site—a 48,000 sq. ft., three-building facility located just west of downtown Los Angeles.
