Project ABC Presents: Infant Massage Certification Training

April 19, 2016

Featured Presenter: Michael Curtis

This comprehensive 4-day course prepares participants to guide parents and caregivers to learn to use massage with their infants and children. Infant massage supports parents’ sensitivity to their baby’s cues, encourages parent-baby interactions, and supports parental capacity to promote their infant’s regulation and social-emotional development. This course includes 3 parent-baby classes, in which participants will gain practical experience in teaching infant massage. Training materials and a baby doll are included. To earn the Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) status, participants need to complete an exam and practicum in the weeks following the training.
