Join nationally recognized experts and your colleagues for a daylong exploration of the most important issues related to fatherhood. Discover new ways to build and strengthen relationships between fathers and their children.

NEW! This year’s conference will include a designated Father Track with workshops covering topics that are relevant and beneficial to fathers in attendance.

Cheryl Grills, PhD
Dr. Grills is a clinical psychologist, recognized throughout California and the nation for her expertise in the development of empowerment, participatory models of evaluations, and issues of cultural competency.

Gregory Boyle, S.J.
Father Boyle, an American Jesuit priest, is the founder and Director of Homeboy Industries. He has received national acclaim for his work assisting high-risk youth, former gang members and the recently incarcerated with a variety of free programs — mental health counseling, legal services, tattoo removal, education classes, work-readiness training, and employment services.

Earl Johnson, PhD
Dr. Johnson is Director of the Office of Family Assistance, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (ACF). His areas of expertise include poverty and fatherhood, both high-priority issues for the Administration and Health and Human Services.
