Financial Analyst

Performs moderate to complex financial analysis, variance analysis reporting, create financial system reporting solutions and initiating corrective action and adjustments; tracking activities, forecasting and special projects as assigned. Support and assist the Director of Finance and the CFO/ VP of Finance in developing and delivering comprehensive monthly financial and management reporting outcomes. Works with General Ledger detail, budget detail, project level reporting, to trail balance and consolidate financial statements. Initiates corrective action and adjustments to financial records for purposes of accurate and appropriate reporting. Researches and examines support documentation, communicates with various levels of staff and management, and implements solutions. Records monthly JEs for Subsidiary and compliance reports for loans and performs financial ratio analysis under the various credit agreements. Develops and creates financial reporting and analysis solution using Financial Edge report writer tools and excel spreadsheets reports. Process and tracks payments for construction project and loan payments. Responsibilities also include assisting the Director of Finance and other Finance staff with budget development, including creation of budget templates, entering budget data and budget analysis at agency summary level, and detail level for Department of Mental Health Contracts. Prepares agency wide monthly cash flow tracking, analysis, forecasting and reporting. Successfully multi-tasks under pressure, manage multiple priorities, resourcefully manages time, organizes work in a professional manner and maintains files and documentation


Bachelor degree in Finance, Business or Accounting. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; expert Excel skills; fluent in use of pivot tables, v-lookups and formula driven functions. Skills in positive productive communication with coworkers, government funding source representatives, management and the public. A working knowledge of accounting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Excellent time management and organizational skills
