| Description: | MSW or MFCC degree (LCSW or LMFT license issued by the State of California is preferred). These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.
To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have: MSW or MFCC degree. CSW or LMFT license issued by the State of California. Three or more years of experience, post master’s degree, relative to the specific type of client he or she will be working with and/or therapy to be provided, including family patterns, practices, special needs, traditions and values of the ethnic and cultural groups served by the program. Clinical supervision experience and willingness to accept assignments. Demonstrated proficiency in an evidence-based treatment (e.g., one year supervised experience) and ability to develop and implement training in evidence-based treatment theory and practice. Ability to work effectively within a multicultural work group. Working knowledge of community resources to address special needs of the client base (e.g., one year supervised experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. |
| Qualifications: | Masters degree in psychology, social work, sociology or related field. Demonstrated experience supervising/leading a similar program, typically met by at least three years similar experience. Working knowledge of substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, community programs and the child abuse and neglect response system. Supervisory skills sufficient to manage a group of employees. Bi-lingual Spanish/English skills. |
