Yivette Odell, Psy.D.
Vice President, Child Welfare
Dr. Yivette Odell is Vice President of Child Welfare at CII and a licensed clinical psychologist. She provides leadership to ensure the success of the agency's child welfare programs, including family preservation, parent education, gang prevention and others. In this capacity, she oversees the development and implementation of program and service standards, program evaluation practices and community outreach strategies. She is also responsible for all aspects of program administration. Dr. Odell has had over 20 years of working with children and families in the Los Angeles Unified School District and a number of community based organizations. Her experience includes teaching, program development, and program management related to parenting education and the prevention and treatment of child abuse.
