Manuel Castellanos Jr. is Vice President of Early Education and Community Services at CII. Building on over twenty-seven years of experience working with at risk children and families, he oversees the development and implementation of programs serving CII's youngest children and their families, including Early Head Start, School Readiness and Preschool Day Treatment. Prior to joining CII, Mr. Castellanos was Director of Family Services for the Venice Family Clinic and Executive Director of the South Bay Free Clinic. Previous community work includes board membership for Venice Arts Mecca, the Head Start/UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Program, the Los Angeles County Child Care Planning Committee, the Venice Community Housing Corporation and the California Head Start-Child Care Collaboration Committee.
